3rd and 4th April 2019
Palma de Mallorca
Conference
The STAD in Europe conference will take place in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), on April 3rd and April 4th. The meeting’s venue is Teatre Mar i Terra – Sant Magí, 89 – Palma (Spain).
The STAD in Europe (SiE) project aims to tackle heavy episodic drinking by restricting the availability of alcohol in four drinking environments:
- nightlife environments, such as licensed premises;
- festivals;
- public hotspots, such as streets, parks and beaches and;
- home drinking, including preloading before going on a night out.
This conference will bring together experts, policy makers, municipalities representatives, NGOs and researchers to discuss and share knowledge and experiences of implementing the STAD model across seven EU countries and to encourage engagement in the development of STAD across pilot sites and other EU countries.
Taking into account your interest and expertise in this field of work, your presence at this conference will be highly appreciated.
Please confirm if you will be able to attend by sending an email to: janupol@irefrea.org
